The house was built for Marià de Foronda, Marqués de Foronda, first president and founder of the Barcelona Rail way Company (TMB). The Amat family acquired it in the middle of the last century, maintaining it until the present day, when it is now open to the public, allowing them to create memorable gatherings, full of light and colour.
The renovation is in keeping with the original architecture . The conversion has aimed to prepare a Town House, formerly belonging to a titled Catalan family for a New and exiting purpose. A vibrant space, where one can experience and share the atmosphere generated by our renowned Chef at work. A rare and magical combination.
Torre Amat includes a fourth area, stocked with all the equipment necessary for our caterers to produce exclusive banquets with excellent service.
